Per Inge Bjørlo

Per Inge Bjørlo is considered a pioneer within the Norwegian art scene.

This exhibition features more than fifty works in a range of media including prints, drawings, sculptures and paintings. Bjørlo’s installation ”Inner Room I”, shown in 1984, is referred to as one of newer Norwegian art history’s most legendary works. Consisting largely of pungent rubber materials, the installation set the tone for his subsequent artistic practice and marked the breakthrough for Norwegian installation art.
